Honda CR-V, Passport, and Ridgeline Named Best Value New Cars in the 2026 Cars.com Affordability Report
The affordability of Honda products was highlighted as the Honda CR-V, Passport and Ridgeline earned a 2026 Best Value New Cars recognition from Cars.com. Cars.com editors have honored each Honda vehicle as Top Finishers in their respective categories.

The Honda CR-V LX was a Top Finisher in the Compact SUV category, with the all-new Passport RTL named a leader in the Mid-Size SUV category and the Ridgeline Sport earning a top spot in the Mid-Size Pickup Truck category. The average transaction price for a new Honda vehicle in 2025 was $35,060 – about $10,000 below the industry average. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the 2026 CR-V LX, Passport RTL and Ridgeline Sport are each below the $46,303 new-vehicle average transaction price in America, according to J.D. Power.
