What is the Honda Maintenance Minder?

The Honda Maintenance Minder is the built-in system used to determine when an oil change and regular maintenance is due.

How often should I change the oil in my Honda?

For Hondas equipped with the Maintenance Minder System, expect to change your oil when the oil life has reached 15%.

Should I get all season tires or winter tires for my car?

Winter tires are specifically designed to help maintain traction on the road by gripping slush and snow. Winter tires are also made with a rubber that allows your tires to maintain a constant tire pressure despite the extreme drop in temperature.

How do I reset the Low Tire Pressure Warning Light?

Vehicles equipped with Tire Pressure Sensors will automatically reset once the tire has been filled.
Vehicles equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring System can follow these steps on how to reset the TPMS.

Why is my TPMS light on?

The TPMS light may come on when:

  • Change in Temperature

Because cold air is more dense and occupies less space than warm air, the PSI in your tires may change if there is a sudden change in temperature. The light comes on when your PSI is too low.

  • Tire Leak

It is possible that your tire has been punctured and is leaking. Call our service department to arrange a time to come in to have the tire repaired.

If your tire pressure light does come on, do a visual inspection. If it is visibly low, you will want to change the tire or call a tow truck. Do not drive on a flat tire. If it isn’t obviously low, stop into our Service Drive to have your tire inflated.
