The Honda Prelude was originally produced over 5 generations from 1978 to 2001. Built on a new chassis, the Prelude borrowed the suspension, brakes, and engine of the Honda Accord to become a sporty mix of the Civic and Accord in coupe-form. The Prelude was the first mainstream car to feature an electric moonroof as a standard feature. The Prelude makes an exciting comeback for the 2026 model year kicking off the 6th generation of the model.
