Winter tires are specifically designed to help maintain traction on the road by gripping slush and snow. Winter tires are also made with a rubber that allows your tires to maintain a constant tire pressure despite the extreme drop in temperature.

    • CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE – Because cold air is more dense and occupies less space than warm air, the PSI in your tires may change if there is a sudden change in temperature. The light comes on when your PSI is too low.
    • TIRE IS LEAKING – It is possible that your tire has been punctured and is leaking.

If your tire pressure light does come on, do a visual inspection. If it is visibly low, you will want to change the tire or call a tow truck. Do not drive on a flat tire. If it isn’t obviously low, stop into our Service Drive to have your tire inflated.
